Friendship improves happiness and relieves misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

Remembering COOLER Days!!! (MEMORY MONDAY)
Baby ! It's HOT outside. Can you remember when the hot weather didn't bother you? I can. In my younger days, no matter how high the tempatures were, it didn't matter to me. What happens to us as we get older.? I have just about melted today. I had to get out of the house and do a few errands and I've been to the surgery center to sit with my sister while her husband and a small place removed from his face. I am fine as long as I am indoors, but the minute I step outside my stomach starts feeling sick. Oh, to be young again!!!!

Yes, I do remember when the heat didn't bother me. Of course I spent most of the summer in the pool too.
Aw, just face it , Clara ... The old grey mare ain't what she used to be ...... carolyn
Till November of 2005, I worked outside in this heat...now I get up and go outside and wonder how in the world I ever did it. I can remember reaching up and my hair feeling hot to touch...
Oh my goodness, the heat has seemed so awful this year! I step outside and within five minutes, I'm pouring sweat! We usually keep our windows open, but this summer, we've been cranking the air conditioning wide open.
Stay cool, Clara! :-)
Hello Clara. Sorry I haven't bee to visit in a while. I lost my friend John last month and have not felt like doing much but I'm back and trying to look ahead.
Yes the hot is hotter and the cold is colder. I think we become more sensitive with age. Not that we are 'old' or anything like that. :)
Your pictures of San Diego brought back some fun memories for me. Two of my daughters lived there for about 12 years and I was able to go visit them several times. Of course they had to show me the sights. I loved the concert in the park too and the world's largest organ was played on Sunday. That was very special.
