Memorial Day....

The gravestones at Arlington national Cemetery graced by U.S. flags on Memorial Day.
Freedom's Colors:
by Roger W. Hancock
Red is for bravery;
blood shed in sacrifice.
Freedom came with lives the price.
White is for Liberty;
freedom's purity.
Life be free from God's decree.
Blue is for justice;
as vast as the sky.
Over freedom's land to occupy.

Hope you are enjoying your day, Clara. We should all stop today and remember those who have sacrificed so much for our county.
I had a friend that had a bird like the one your daughter has. She taught it to say "David is a dumbass". David was her husband. That bird said it everytime he came through the door! They are so smart.
