I bought this clock the year we got married. That was 55 years ago. The other day I was going through a closet and decided to plug it in to see if it would run. IT DID!!!! The "granny" still rocks in her rocking chair and the bulb still made the house glow. The clock has again found a place on my mantle. (Click twice to enlarge) Wish Bill could see it!

I have never seen a clock like this, but if I found one I would sure buy it.
What a great clock. I am sorry Bill can't share it with you. Thanks for sharing it with us, though. Big hugs to you my friend.
What a sweet clock!! I've never seen one like it either. I'm so glad it still works.
I have a clock that my parents owned. My stepfather threw it in the trash because it stopped working. I salvaged it and took it to be repaired and all it needed was oiled. It's on my entertainment center in my living room now and brings back lots of memories.
That same clcok sat on the mantle of my grandmother's house for as long as I can remember. After she died, my mother got rid of it. I'd give almost anything to have it back. If you ever want to sell your clock, please let me know. Anyway, it was great to at least see a picture of it again.
