The Shriners Convention is this coming week-end on Sept 17, 18 and 19th at Virginia Beach. We will be leaving early Thursday morning. Bill says he is able to go. I hope he makes the trip O.K. Ryan is going with us. I will go after him on Wednesday. The picture is The Highlanders Band where my son Gary plays the bagpipes. It was made two years ago in Va Beach. The Shriners always have a terrific parade. I can't wait.

Hi, Clara. Oh, I love to see the Shriners in parades--always so entertaining in the little cars! Safe travels to all of you, Clara. Have a wonderful time!
I remember so many times as a child waiting on the Shriners! They always made a parade in our area. Children were delighted to see them and they put on such a show for everyone. Have a great trip Clara.
Clara, I sure hope you have great weather for the Shriners convention. I live an hour from Va. Beach. Wish I could just be standing on the street corner waving at all those shriners in the parade and then find you. That would be such fun.
Hi Clara, I hope you all have a great trip. I'd love to hear those bagpipes. Hope your hubby gets to go--and enjoys the trip.
Hugs,
Betsy
Enjoy your trip!
I hope all goes well for everyone on the trip.
I also hope you take pics.
Have fun!!

I hope you had a great time. I LOVE bagpipes. Probably my Irish and Scottish heritage. You must be so proud of your son!
