ONE MORE FALL PICTURE.....WELL, MAYBE TWO.

This is one of my neighbor's house. The sun was glowing just at the top of the trees.
And this is the road going up to Lisa's house. I always have to make a picture there this time of the year. Loree wrote me a poem about this very road. Her website is http://www.poetrybyloree.com/ The poem goes like this..... ~NATURE~
A narrow country road that curves,
Through tall and graceful trees,
Shade from hot rays of brilliant sun,
Provided by their leaves.
It leads to quiet and solitude,
A peaceful place for sure,
Without the noise of city sounds,
That many must endure.
A perfect place, there is no doubt,
Where I can leave behind,
All cobwebs that have settled in,
Far corners of my mind.
I look ahead, down peaceful road,
A slow time in fast world,
At dark and light, and vivid hues,
Like colors that are swirled....
By some great artist, name unknown
Who doesn't look for fame,
Yet we all know that artist well,
For "Nature" is her name!

Such a beautiful poem and the photos are so pretty. I just love fall, too. It is my favorite season of the year.

Clara, those photographs are just beautiful! I love the bright golden glow of the trees in the first, but I like the second one even more. It makes me want to walk down that lovely road and see what's around the bend. Lisa is very fortunate to be able to drive up that road every day. And Loree's poem is wonderful! Thank you for sharing both.

Your pictures are beautiful CLara. I love how the trees look when the sun is shining on just the tops. It's sort of magical.
I like the poem too.
Aren't we glad that the Lord God has created such a beautiful place for us to live?

I like you with the silver hair - suits you Clara. Enjoyed the pictures of the autumn foliage - they're magic. Our climate in my part of Oz doesn't fluctuate so much that we can have much leafy colour in our gardens - more's the pity.
Mind you, as you will have seen in the garden centre on 70 Plus and Still Kicking the sub-tropical plants have their compensations ...
Thanks for dropping by.

Loree's poem is lovely. Very calming.

That road is so picturesque. I can see why it was the inspiration for that poem.

Our fall leaves are falling, falling, falling away.
I just hate to see those gorgeous colors go away.
Winter is my least favorite season.

Put on some of your crocheted booties, hat, and scarf and stay warm, Clara!!
