Crocheted Square for my Exchange......
I crocheted this turkey square for my exchange this month. Yesterday I mailed it to Lucille in MO. Usually I can finish one in a short time, but this one took a long time. Each of his feathers were crocheted seperately and then sewed on seperately. But it was fun to make. I found the directions on the internet at Dayna's Crochet.

Patsy, I have enough squares to make two afghans. I've already made one from the squares I have received. they have come from several countries. It is a lot of fun!

Crocheting is one craft I have never been able to master. My fingers just won't work with a hook yet I learn't to knit when I was about 6 years old

That is adorable, Clara. You obviously have a lot of talent, as well as patience. I'm so fumble-fingered--I don't think I could manage that. But I love the idea of an exchange with other people. Such a cool thing to imagine getting those from all over the world!

That is really cute. So creative!!! I am crocheting mini mitten sets that hang over a Christmas Tree limb as an ornament. I will take pictures and put them on my blog.

Barbara, in answer to your question, we have a person who is over the exchange. She sends us our partners name each month, and we let her know when we receive or send a square. There is a picture at my website of one of the afghans from the squares
