When The Snow Is On The Lilac....

It's Sunday afternoon, April 15th at 4:43 in the afternoon. The temperature is 32 degrees. The ground is almost completely white. It has snowed MORE since I made these pictures. I think I will put my Christmas tree up again....which reminds me of a story! It was April 1998 and it snowed 17 inches. I put up a tree out in my front yard with lights and all. Bill said I had lost my mind! I told him if that caused one person to laugh, it would be worth it. Just about that time, my phone rang and it was the 85 year old man who lived across the road from me. His voice was slow and quaint. He said, "I just called to wish you a Merry Christmas". I wish he were still alive...I would put the tree up just for him!

They said we had a possibility of snow last night today and tonight. It is currently 47 and sunny. I hope your snow won't stay long.

I love the tree story. You would be a fun neighbor to have!!!
