Bristol Virginia's Veteran's Memorial Park....

located adjacent to the City Courthouse, was built to honor the veterans of all our nation's armed conflicts and provide a respectful and peaceful setting in the downtown area. The City of Bristol acquired a AH-1F aircraft for display in the park and it was emplaced in the park on August 2, 2002. It is barely visable in my picture.
The other picture is a stage for entertainment.

I remember driving through Bristol when they were working on some portion of the Memorial Park. We were going to Virginia to pick up a corgi puppy. It's funny, the things we remember and the things we can't remember, like where the car keys are.
