Bristol Tennessee among top 100 places for young people....

The city has been named one of the best communitiies for young people in America, an honor that recognizes the work of a number of agencies and their efforts to support the city's youth. America's Promise, a national organization that advocates for youth, received more than 1,000 applications last year. Bristol was one of three in Tennessee chosen for the honor. The picture above was made last summer of some young people. I don't even know who they are. I stopped to make a picture of the swinging bridge and they wanted in the picture. The sign that hangs over State St, downtown says it all..."BRISTOL, TN. VA...A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE".....

Love that bridge!! I haven't been on a swinging bridge in ages!! That takes me back to my childhood since we once lived across the creek and when it flooded we had to cross the swinging bridge to get home!

What a neat bridge! Our youth are certainly important and it sounds like Bristol is a nice place to live.
