Friendship improves happiness and relieves misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.
I love New York City!! And, isn't Lady Liberty grand? I am glad they have opened her up again. But, I sure couldn't climb all those stairs to get to the top. No way.
Hi Clara, It looks like everyone was having a great time on vacation in New York City! I enjoyed your photos. I love the quote about tomatoes and the thing about mosquitoes in your sidebar. I have to spray my yard every year they are so bad here!
Hi again Clara, My son works for Ky.Educational T.V. and they recently aired a program about health care. He asked if I would post it on my blog and get my readers comments about our healthcare system. I would love yours if you get time. Thanks, Hugs, Judy
Clara, I'll bet they are having a blast!! Great photos!!
What wonderful pictures. I like the one of Lucas resting. I'd be right there beside him. I get tired out pretty fast these days.I love seeing the statue of Liberty. I can just imagine how immigrants felt when they first came to America and saw Miss Liberty.
Wow, what a great vacation! They look like they're having a grand time, Clara. There's a lot of ground to cover in New York City, but it looks like they're doing a good job of it!
Looks like your family had a wonderful time in NYC... Great pictures!!!!Hugs,Betsy

Hi Clara, I am glad to hear about you!Sounds you all had a great time in NY!
How fun!! I bet they've had a marvelous vacation. I have visited DC and NYC, and both places are exciting. If they could find a way to steal the Hope Diamond, I think they could sell it and probably pay for their entire trip... with a little bit of money left over.:-)
Hi Clara, I visited NY for 4 days and we walked for hours so I understand Lucas sitting anywhere he could find an available seat!We did the boat tour out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis' Island. Our view from the Empire state building was not so good as it was foggy.NY is definitely the city that never sleeps. They all had a great time with wonderful memories and photos.
