Snowman Purse for little girls......

I made this today. It is crocheted. I will put it in my "Christmas Box" for a gift this coming Christmas. I have to get some grograin ribbon (black with white polka dots) and tie a bow on one of the handles. It was fun to make.

This is just darling!!! You are giving me an idea. I have a little great granddaughter who will soon be two and she is always trying to carry someone's purse around with her. I bet she would love her own. My crochet yarn and hooks are beside my chair. Maybe tonight while watching a movie I can get one started for her.
Thanks for the idea Clara!

I'm always impressed by your creativity and talent. You really are excellent at all the craft projects you do.
:-)

Please tell your grandson who you said really wants to go to Hollywood and see some celebrities that Hollywood is not all it's cracked up to be. It is seedy and not shiny and wonderful like people might expect. It is fun to walk along the sidewalk and see the stars engraved in the cement. It is fun to see the Hollywood sign on the hill. It is fun to see some other things here, but Hollywood itself is a place I would not walk around at night by myself.
What is impressive is many of the upscale neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area with houses that are so gorgeous and perfect yards that are tended to by gardeners. There are palm trees all over the place and some wonderful things to do in southern CA. Being downtown Hollywood is fun, but it is not flashy like Las Vegas or anything.
I hope your grandson does get to come to CA some day, because there are a lot of great places here.

I love the snowman purse. Would love to be more adventurous with my crochet but will most likely have to take a class, can only so far do granny squares. I do enjoy your blog, truly inspirational.

The purse is cute, but I can't figure out what it is made of. I have nimble fingers when it comes to hand sewing (other than heming my husbands or my pants.) So I do admire you girls that can create such such beautiful handiwork.
