This Quilt Barn is in Grainger Co. That is where Lisa lives. I made the picture early one morning when I was taking Lucas to school. When I got back home that morning, I forgot to turn the lights off on my car, and when I started back to get him that afternoon, by car wouldn't start. Luckily, Donaldo had left the keys to his truck on his dresser, but I had a few anxious moments.

Clara, I'm certain I recently saw one of your Hawkins County quilt barns. I live near Knoxville, but we were out that way a couple of weekends ago. The kids were on fall break and we were taking in the beautiful fall countryside. I have always loved quilts and one of these days I plan to learn how to make them. Both of my grandma's quilted and I can remember standing behind them, watching their hands as they worked on the quilts.
Every one you show is pretty. I'd hate to have to pick a prize winner.
I have never seen people decorate their barns like that before...very cool
I love all of them too but I think the last one you posted...the one that looks fall-ish is my favorite.
I believe that this is my favorite so far. I love the barn itself!!!
I think this is my favorite block that I have seen, with the red barn after this probably being my favorite barn.
