My stay on the farm.....
We had a wonderful week at my daughter's farm and with the boys. Time flew by as we stayed busy every minute. I made goat cheese four different times. One time, I had to climb up in the top of the barn because the hay that had been put down for me was gone. I wish you could have seen me up in the top of that barn. Talk about keeping you young! The color of the leaves were georgous there. I have never seen them so vibrant. Lisa had forgotten to move her big plant indoors that she calls "Big Dave" He is to big for me to move, so every night I put him to bed with a big blanket over him. It was in the twenties one night. The animals love me because I always take them loads of apples and they know what I am going to do when they see me coming. Ryan called me after I got home and said they were crying for me. Lisa brought back some beautiful pictures and a lot of "goodies" from ElSalvador. They had a wonderful trip, but said they missed us! I'm glad they are home and all is well. Claudia, I want you to know, I had you on my mind...especially on the twentieth. I'm glad you don't have to have heart surgery! Everything is going to be alright! Dot, scroll down, I have started posting the quilt barns again. Grammie, I know Owen must be growing in leaps and bounds as well as your love for him! Teresa, I was down in your neck of the woods...isn't everything beautiful?????? And to everybody.....have a blessed day and rejoice in Him!!!!!

You sound so invigorated and your trip to the farm sounds wonderful!
Thanks for your sweet words...yes, Owen is growing by leaps and bounds and I miss him like crazy!!!!
Take care! : )
Clara, so glad you are back. Sounds like you had a good time.
You do sound happy and that just makes my heart glow! My neck of the woods? That's weird...you didn't go looking at land did you, because on Sat. we had someone from Tenn. up to the farm and hubby said they were real nice! I am thinking that KY must be having a more colorful Autumn show than most this year. It is indeed beautiful.
Can't wait to see the other quilt barns. I'm loving them!
Hey Miz Clara,
I had just started to visit you and I saw you went out of town. Sounds like you had lots of fun. I love your blog!!
:-D
Welcome back Clara. We missed you!!
Clara I'm glad you had such a good time. Sounds like fun to me. I think I would have the animals spoiled too. I hope you took more than just barn pictures...I want to see it all! I hardly ever see a barn as pretty as those around here & of course they dont have quilts on them either. What a neat idea! I'll be looking for more pic's! SO GLAD YOUR BACK SAFE & SOUND...and your daughter too!
