Friendship improves happiness and relieves misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

My Trip To the Grocery Store.....
My Mother-in-law is 94. Her sister lives with her ...she is 87. I go to the grocery store for them...and anywhere else I need to go for them. Well, this morning it was the grocery store. The 87 year old wanted to go with me. Have you ever spent three hours in a grocery store with someone that never goes anywhere? She thought she was shopping in New York City......(Bless her Heart) When we finally finished, I got hold of the cart and pushed it out to my car. Here I go to load the mountain of groceries in my car. She said, "Clara, that doesn't look like all of my groceries". I assured her it was. Well, after I get them all in the house, my husband and I leave. We stopped to eat a hot dog and was sitting there eating and my cell phone rang. It was the 87 year old. She said, "Clara, I don't have my potatoes or my onions. or my butter or my bread". I told her I would go back to the store to see if I could find them. Low and behold, there they sat. The next time I hear her say, "Clara, I don't think I have all of my groceries, I will listen....LOL

Only your sister in-law could sympatize with you. No one ever said Auntie doesn't know it all! LOL!Love your heart.
Hee, hee, I don't know how old are you but hopefully for us we won't become like that ! But on the other side it would make fun to our children !
I do all things wrong clara. I commented on this blog on my blog and I do not remember what I said, so when you are there, you might wanna read it.
You are a good daughter-in-law and I am proud of you. Take care, stay safe.
God Bless!
What a blessing to still have siblings when you get to those wonderful older years. My Grandma lived with us for a year. I would take her over to her older Sister's house to stay a couple of days at a time. My Great Aunt Flo's husband, Ben would complain that when it was nap time, that they layed in the other room and chatted like 2 school girls. Ben married my Aunt Flo when she was 91. He was 18 years her junior. I told him, if you are 93 (my Grandma's age) and can lay in bed and chat with your older sister, then I say what a blessing... LET THEM CHAT!!! Grandma died at 95 and Aunt Flo at 102.
Did you check your ticket to! Read Patsy's blog "Notice". LOL!
