Americas Got Talent....

Are any of you watching Americas Got Talent? It is down to the top ten. I still do not have a clue who will win. I believe Queen Emily will be very close to the top, and I like Eli, the man who plays the piano and sings. Neal is very good. Donald Braswell may be the winner. Next Wednesday night is the next show....at 8:00 EST on NBC. Watch and see if you can pick a winner.

Margie's Musings said...: Actually, Clara, I don't watch much TV. It's just too childish anymore for me. I don't like any of the reality shows and hardly any game shows. I have to be pretty desperate to watch any of them.

These contest shows are also a turn off for me.

Where has the entertaining TV gone. I used to watch Frazier and Golden Girls. But I can't find anything to watch anymore.; 11:14 AM

Judy said...: I love reality shows Clara and usually watch this one but it is on opposite Big Brother, lol, and I have watched some of it but missed out on a lot. I will watch the end though. My daughter told me she bet I was the only person still watching Big Brother. She said the network was saying: "There is this little old woman in Kentucky still watching so we can't take it off the air yet"! She is sooooooooo funny!; 10:41 AM

Braswell has my vote over the others, however his voice doesn't seem as strong as the black lady and the young man. We'll probably be in church, so I'll miss part of it tomorrow night.

WHERE I'M FROM........

I am from hayfield and blackberry patches, gathering eggs and selling them to my Daddy in his store. I am from a house with no bath....but a path. I am from cherry trees where I climbed and ate more than I carried home.....from digging potatoes in the rich earth. I am from skinny dipping and swinging on grape vines, two room school house, sitting on the front porch while my Mother played the guitar.....wringer washers and wash tubs. I am from playing the piano, the accordian and making playhouses in the woods....hide and seek, jumping rope and May I. From: Raleigh's Liniment, Cracker Jacks and Castor Oil.....Revival Meetings and Baptisms in the river....catalogs and feed sack skirts. From: "Pretty is only skin deep" to "Always mind your manners." I am from Methodist, Baptist, Wednesday night prayer meetings and shouting Hallaujah. I am from the Volunteer state of Tennessee with lakes and mountains, race cars, beans, cornbread and red eye gravy. We always called it "God's Country." I am from family get togethers, dinner on the ground, singing with my sisters, a Mother with a heart of gold and a Daddy with a strict hand. A grandfather who always looked to see if I had my fingernails painted and a Grandmother who could squeeze your heart out! Yes, I came from a family of seven siblings and I have told you where I came from. It was wonderful and I wouldn't change a thing if I could.
