Above, you will see him asleep in his favorite chair.
Friendship improves happiness and relieves misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

Sad Day For Me!!!!!
I ran over "Puddy Cat". He had been sleeping underneath my car since the hot weather began. I ALWAYS looked under there, but today I didn't. He didn't die, so I picked him up and rushed him to the emergency pet clinic. He had massive spinal injuries, and they said he probably wouldn't walk again, so I had him put down. He was 16 years old, and I loved that cat. In the winter time, he slept on a heating pad, and every night (Winter and Summer) he lay in a certain spot outside my door waiting for me to come carry him to his house outside. Grammie, I guess he is at Rainbow Bridge with Gizmo. Missing you Puddy Cat. Your memories will remain in my heart!!!!

Oh Clara....I am so sorry!!!! Sixteen years is a long time... Please know that my thoughts are with you as you had to say good-bye to your beautiful cat.
Your words were so comforting to me when I lost Gizmo...please know that I am sending that comfort right back to you.
Please take care....love and hugs,
Grammie
On the previous post the rose doily is lovely!! Congratulations on the ribbons! The afghan should have been displayed so they could see how beautiful it is. Geesh!! Those people!!!
I am soooooo sorry to hear about your sweet cat. How sad. I know how hard it is to lose a pet.
Clara, I'm so so sorry about Puddy Cat. I've backed-up over one of my animals too and know the heart-break. But I'm sure the good life he had with you, he would choose you as his owner all over again.
Beautiful work on the doily and other entries. You deserved all blue ribbons!
Clara, I'm so sorry that this happened - I know it is heartbreaking for you. I'm glad that you had a chance to say good-bye to him first though.

I'm so sorry Clara that you have lost your cat. How terribly sad it must be for you. You know that our family can empathize with you ...
I'm so sorry about your cat. I read your comment over at Grammie's and thought I would come visit.
Oh!! That is so sad. I'm sure you felt just awful when you realized you'd ran over Puddy Cat..
That photo is so cute!
I saw over at Rachel's that you lost your cat. I'm so sorry. Many a cat crossed the rainbow bridge this year.
Don't blame yourself. The kitty had a nice long life.
Aw, I feel your pain. I backed over our cat once, but just broke his hip which actually healed. He was 18. Unfortunately, 7 months later, I backed over him AGAIN and this time he didn't make it; I guess his 9 lives were over. :(
The thing is the first time, he wasn't under the car, but he walked behind it just as I was backing up. The second time, it was the same thing.
My children call me "cat killer."
Clara I cant even read your post.....its too sad & I've been there before.
So sorry about Puddy Cat, Clara, I hope you and hubby are doing OK after that.
