A Good Book To Read.....
Can't Wait to Get to Heaven....By: Fannie Flagg ...Combining southern warmth with unabashed emotion and side-splitting hilarity, Fannie Flagg takes readers back to Elmwood Springs, Missouri, where the most unlikely and surprising experiences of a high-spirited old woman inspire a town to ponder the age-old question. Why are we here? As this comedy-mystery unfolds, those near and dear to Elner each discover something wonderful, and so will you.... A story as sweet and refreshing as iced tea on a summer day, with a little extra kick thrown in.

I've got her cookbook "WhistleStop Cafe" and enjoy her little stories in between the recipes. Thanks for the review!
Hey Clara,
You know this is off topic, but I wanted to tell you that I keep going back to your "dust" comment.
It was beautifully written and filled with such sincere meaning.
Especially liked the end. As we
will in the end return to dust.....
Keep blogging and making folks like me happy!
God Bless!
I just about picked up one of her books the other day. I didn't get it because I was thinking she had a weird writing style that I didnt like but after reading your post I think I've gotten her mixed up with Flannery O'Conner. Glad you suggested the book!
