Swinging Bridge at Bluff City....
The fog was rolling in Saturday morning as I passed the swinging bridge on my way to the P.O. I'm glad I had my camera with me. The only thing you can see here is the duck. I think it looks so peaceful.
Your pictures are so good. There is something about fog I like. I don't think I could make myself walk across that bridge though. I am so scared of heights.
I thought I had lost you. Love the pictures and you and Lisa seem to be having a great day together. by the way, I just picked up what the celebration was about. No More Chemo?!?! I need to read farther back in your posts to learn what you are talking about.
Dear Clara, Beautiful pictures! Don't you love early morning? I do. I certainly think swinging bridges are nice to behold, but not to walk on! I have a good story about a swinging bridge that I crossed one time. I'll tell it sometime. Grammy
What lovely pictures, Clara. They do evoke a feeling of peace. I love that swinging bridge-it makes me want to visit Bluff City, just so I can walk across it!
And, by the way, Clara, thank you for making me laugh in your comment on my post about my collapsing closet. That joke was hilarious! I told it to my family tonight at supper and they laughed and laughed!

ReplyDeleteI love this picture. Most of the swinging bridges are gone now. We often crossed them when I was a kid. It'd be fun to cross that one!
ReplyDeleteMy brother used to run ahead on the swinging bridges and jump up and down to make them rock and sway. He was a very naughty boy!!
You take amazing pictures! I happen to love walking on that bridge, Bluff City doesn't have much to do but I seem to go to that bridge very often.
