I'm trying to change my profile picture.....that's the reason I posted this picture of me. I'm NOT having any luck. I can get the URL, but it says it has to many characters. I don't know which characters to delete. Maybe I will figure it out!
Friendship improves happiness and relieves misery by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.

This is a Knitted scarf or you can use it for a belt. I made it for a little girl that has just turned thirteen. Her name is Anna. There was a little yarn left over and I made her a headband to match.
And this crocheted square is called "Irish Rose". It goes to my partner for this month. Her name is Peggie and she lives in San Luis, AZ. It is prettier than it looks in the picture.
Have I told you that I am learning to knit socks? Well, here is my first one almost half done. I started at the cuff which is in the lower right hand corner and continued down to the heel and then the gussett. Now I am working in the round again towards the toe. I am knitting with The Magic Loop. This pair is for Ryan and I hope to have them finished way before Christmas because Lucas will have to have a pair too. I wish I had time to knit everyone I know a pair of socks. That is so much fun!

This house is over 100 years old. It has been restored by the daughter. I went there yesterday and I didn't want to leave. It is georgous.
Here is the back of the house....
The Living Room.....
Another picture in the living room....
Claw Foot Tub..... No one lives in the house, but they go there for week-ends and for birthday parties and such. I have some more picture I will post later.
Two hats, two pair of booties and a bib......
A little crocheted hat......
Crocheted hat a bib to match.....
Knitted booties.....They remind me of Crocs!! All of these are for a girl my daughter knows. She just had her first baby, and she has just found out she has cancer, all over her body. She is 24. I think that is so sad.
This came up from a seed we spit out in the yard....The watermelon isthe size of a football today. I hope it has time to get ripe before the freezing weather comes upon us. Altho I am kinda ready for that to happen.
This is called :Farewell To Summer" It is in the aster family. I always enjoy it every year.
And here is some Lantana! It just won't quit!
This is the Highlander Band where my son Gary plays the bagpipes. He is the third one from the left. This was the Shriners Convention and it was wonderful. That was the best and the LONGEST parade I had ever seen! Ryan and I had a blast!!!!
Here is Ryan.....in front of the place where we ate. It was called "Crabby Mikes", and it sure was good!
And our Motel.....The Sand Castle. We stayed on the ninth floor. Bill is sitting on the balcony. You cannot see him, but he waved at me just as I made the picture.
I had a yard sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week. This is my sign and my mail box. A lot of people laughed. It looked like a child stuffed in my mail box. I made almost 100.00. That will be nice when we go to Myrtle Beach SC next Thursday. It is the Shriners Convention and my son Gary plays the bagpipes with the Highlanders. Last year it was in Virginia Beach. I'm looking forward to a little R&R! Ryan is going with us. I can't wait!
Lib over at Libs Private Paradise wanted to know what you see when you walk out into your back yard. Here is one thing I see...my Clematis Virginia. The other things are dried up tomato and cucumber plants....brown grass that crackles under your feet. The leaves are falling and they haven't changed colors. The weatherman just said...no rain in sight.
